Method development andapplication of stable isotopic and wet chemistry analytical techniques as applied to current research within the Resource Petrology and Stable Isotope Geochemistry Research Group.
Application of XPS in the analysis of chalcopyrite leached reaction surfaces.

Current Projects:

Application of stable isotope techniques to theinvestigation of acid mine drainage at abandoned mine sites (with M. Adraki, CMLR, S. Golding, and M. Lawrence, UQ Earth Sciences and SMI).
Mass-dependent and mass-independent light stable isotope fractionation in Precambrian sediments as a key to early atmospheric and oceanic evolution (with S.Golding and E. Young, UQ Earth Sciences and B. Kamber, ACQUIRE).
Project specific developmentof micro-analytical techniques associated with CF-IRMS and ICP-OES (with S. Golding, and M. Lawrence, UQ Earth Sciences).
